The Rowan Family Reunion in the "Ville" was packed full of activities for everyone.  Thanks to the Louisville committee who put together a great program that included activities such as a golf outing, tennis, tour of the Mahammid Ali Center, a fantastic picnic, horse shoe, bowling, games, and a special family breakfast Sunday morning.  After breakfast, Reverend Gordon provided the family with an inspirational sermon that spoke of the need to "Get Involved'!  We had our annual business meeting on Saturday and Sunday. Most of these activites occurred within two miles of the hotel ... that's fantastic planning.

Knowing how challenging it is to host this celebration, we extend a "Special Thanks" to the entire local committee for everything they did to make this reunion a success.  Those individual are:  Jackie Bell, Ann Shively Branch, Rene Calvin, Angie Dawson, Gloria Rowan Dawson, Marcia and Peter Ebbs, Saundra and Theodore King Jr., Julia Shively McCrary, Michele McCrary, Marilyn McKissic, Vern and Kathy Rowan, Gerald and Mary Shively, Vivian and Julius Simms.  

I will be adding a story that introduces you to a family member who joined us in the Ville for her very first family reunion.  We also had others who were first time attendees which is always a pleasure.  Look for the photo album displaying numerous pictures from the 2007 family reunion.
